Orange Township Voters Trust Warren With 4 More Years

Today marked the continuation of a yet to be completed chapter in politics in The City of Orange Township.

Mayor Dwayne D. Warren Esq. handily won his re-election effort and with 50% of the vote a clear directive from voters that they want to continue on the course Warren has set.

In a statement immediately following the official results Mayor Warren said:

If there is anyone out there who is wondering whether or not Orange is moving forward, tonight we have an answer.

Today, our neighbors turned out in record numbers to make their voices heard.

These were voices raised in Spanish, in English and in Creole. These were voices raised for progress and unity.

This election reaffirmed that the people of Orange want to see the progress continue. That they want to see me focus on making our schools better, improving our public safety by hiring officers who are committed to Orange, and continue to build on a promise I made to provide more recreation and enrichment programs to our children.

I want to thank the voters of our beloved city who have trusted me to serve and guide our city for another four years.

I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend and the love of my life, the First Lady of Orange, Dr. Karma Warren.

To my campaign staff and volunteers you made this happen, and I am forever grateful for what you've sacrificed to get it done.

But above all, I will never forget who this victory truly belongs to - it belongs to the families of Orange.

To my opponents who used this election to focus more on what divides us versus what unites us, I will continue to be the Mayor for all of Orange, and ask them to put aside their differences for a better orange.

I look forward to continuing to serve the residents of the city of orange township.

God Bless you all and God Bless the City of Orange Township
