My day in court |

Went to traffic court in Irvington, NJ to resolve a simple traffic ticket (misunderstanding) and witnessed the absolute worst environment. Contemplated taking my young children with me so they could see how the court system works. Good thing I didn't! Everyone from the judge to the police officer who "greeted" me at the entrance was an embarrassment. When I left the court house, I had been demeaned by the judge and bailiff, threatened with contempt of court, learned some new expletives and had a contact high from some of the best weed I've smelled in a long time. |
